COURSE DESCRIPTION
  1. Emerging technologies such as biometrics, improved AMDs and x-ray scanning devices will significantly enhance security, but their effectiveness depends on their operators.
  2. While technical advances are crucial - they must be used in conjunction with highly trained, motivated and alert personnel. There is always a danger that the more sophisticated the equipment, the more it comes to be relied upon automatically
  3. The best defense against the terrorist or the saboteur does not come in the form of new developments in AMDs or x-ray scanning devices - it comes in the form of the human brain.
  4. The class will be followed by detailed power point slide show and each student will use a meticulous workbook during the class. This course is the most comprehensive and effectual in the aviation security industry.

REQUIRED PARTICIPANT QUALIFICATIONS
  1. This course is intended for all new security officers working at an airport. Participants should have a good oral and written command of the English language.
  2. Duration of the course is 3 weeks.
