| AVIATION COURSES > AIRPORT SECURITY - ICAO-STP123 |
|
| COURSE DESCRIPTION |
- Emerging technologies such as biometrics, improved AMDs and x-ray scanning devices will significantly enhance security, but their effectiveness depends on their operators.
- While technical advances are crucial - they must be used in conjunction with highly trained, motivated and alert personnel. There is always a danger that the more sophisticated the equipment, the more it comes to be relied upon automatically
- The best defense against the terrorist or the saboteur does not come in the form of new developments in AMDs or x-ray scanning devices - it comes in the form of the human brain.
- The class will be followed by detailed power point slide show and each student will use a meticulous workbook during the class. This course is the most comprehensive and effectual in the aviation security industry.
